GE’s Marine Solutions showcases the fuel economy of its engines with Robert C. Dorn, CEO of Hyak Maritime, a customer of GE.

Just ask our customers. When we asked Robert C. Dorn, CEO of Hyak Maritime, about the fuel economy of GE engines, he replied,

“Best that I have witnessed in 35 years.” For example, “One of our customers made long international voyages to Africa in 2014 and relayed that daily fuel consumption was 2700 gallons. They had planned for 5000+ gallons per day based on decades of similar tows with EMD powered tugs.”
