The FÜS II hot wheel/dragging brake and hot bearing detector identifies critical rolling stock defects that other systems can’t spot. Housed in a hollow metal tie, the system uses advanced multi-element infrared technology to reliably differentiate between true hot bearings and/or wheels and other unrelated heat sources. More than 700 FUS systems are at work in demanding rail operations in Europe and North America.
