The 3000ES Hydra-Switch machine places the reliability and efficiency of GE’s 3000 and 3000LP switch machines in a ground-level enclosure. This makes the 3000ES well-suited for both rail yard and industrial applications, withstanding axle loads up to 270,000 pounds. It is undamaged by trailing or running through the switch points.
