The Electrified Electro Code (EC) interface unit from GE – Transportation brings the proven performance of the EC coded DC track circuits to applications with electrified propulsion power. As an accessory to the EC track circuit product line, it provides reliable performance with a solid-state option when upgrading from older AC track circuit technology. In addition to vital communication code rates for wayside signal control, the unit provides coded cab signal control for ATC applications.
