Durathon Battery Launch for UPS (Not the brown trucks!)

With energy demands continuing to rise, even in the face of an aging infrastructure, effective, reliable backup power has become that much more important. This remains especially true in areas like hospitals and data centers, where continuous power supply is crucial

So when GE introduced its new Durathon battery, the breakthroughs the new battery offered were stunning.

Just about everything you’ll find in GE’s new Durathon battery is an improvement on previous technology. The battery is perfect for uninterruptible power supply, or UPS, applications, which supplies emergency power when utility mains fail and, unlike a standby generator, provides instantaneous protection during power interruptions.
