GE Transportation, a leading provider of transportation management software and analytics to the railroad industry, announced today its highly anticipated 2015 Client Conference will be held June 15 – 17 in Atlanta, Ga.

Atlanta, Ga. – February 4, 2015 – GE Transportation, a leading provider of transportation management software and analytics to the railroad industry, announced today its highly anticipated 2015 Client Conference will be held June 15 – 17 in Atlanta, Ga.  Distinguished keynote speakers include Linda Darr, President of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) and Pete McCabe, Vice President of GE Transportation’s Global Services.   

GE Transportation hosts this annual event to provide customers with training and education and to introduce cutting-edge software innovations that provide data-driven insights to address key customer pain points like velocity, fuel, asset utilization, productivity and dwell.

  • RailConnect Advanced Analytics, a powerful Business Intelligence (BI) offering designed to provide business insights, support decision-making, and drive business performance.

  • RailConnect mCrew, a mobile software solution for train crews to receive switching instructions and report car movement activity in the field has an improved User Interface, and is being designed to be platform agnostic, saving time and capital expense.

  • ShipperConnect Demurrage Management, a cloud-based software solution that improves railcar demurrage billing accuracy. 

The GE Transportation Client Conference is attended by employees of companies in every major segment of the rail industry.  These include short line and regional railroads, Class I railroads, railcar leasing companies, rail shippers, and intermodal terminal operators.  The Conference includes hands-on training, introduction to new software, and best practices that apply to those new to the railroad industry as well as industry veterans.  Conference participants have ample opportunity for formal and informal networking.

The 2015 Client Conference will be held at the Westin Buckhead Hotel  located in Atlanta, Georgia. Client Conference registration will open in March, 2015.
