GE Energy Storage, a manufacturer of performance leading sodium nickel-based batteries, announced that its Durathon™ E4810 and E4815 Batteries have completed qualification testing to achieve Telcordia’s NEBS™ Level 3 certification. These Durathon Battery models have also demonstrated conformance to the requirements for outside plant electronics detailed in GR-3108 “Generic Requirements for Network Equipment in the Outside Plant (OSP),” no. 2 (2008).
“Achieving NEBS Level 3 Certification and successfully demonstrating conformance to the outside plant criteria of GR-3108 confirm the robustness of the Durathon Battery. This testing and certification provide further assurance to our customers that our product is a high-quality, high-performance energy storage solution,” said Prescott Logan, General Manager, GE Energy Storage.
