Tina Donikowski is Vice President, Locomotive/Marine, Stationary Power & Drill for GE Transportation. She has direct responsibility for GE Transportation’s $2.5 billion core locomotive business, and for extending technology from that business into adjacent markets.
Tina led GE Transportation’s Propulsion and Specialty Services (P&SS) business from 1999 to 2012, growing it to a $1 billion global enterprise. She led GE Transportation’s entry into advanced battery technology for energy storage and expanded the reach of adjacency products into global markets. Her role expanded in 2011 when she was named Integration Leader for GE Mining and again in early 2012 when she assumed leadership of the combined Global Commercial Operations and Marketing organizations.
Tina began her career with GE Transportation in 1977 as a stenographer and held various clerical positions while earning a bachelor’s degree. After completing the GE Manufacturing Management Program she held various positions within Quality, Sourcing, Marketing and Sales. In 1998 Tina became the Quality Leader and in 1999 was appointed as General Manager, P&SS. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Active in the community, Tina serves on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of Erie, and Gannon University’s Board of Trustees.
Tina earned a B.S. in Industrial Management from Gannon University in 1985 and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Gannon in 2011. She and her husband, Mike, reside in Erie with their two sons.
